Corned Pork Shoulder
At Broad Arrow Farm, it seems only natural for us to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with corned pork in place of corned beef! It’s every bit as good; enjoy this recipe often rather than once a year. We like to make plenty so that we’ll have leftovers. The vegetables with the corned pork make a great hash for breakfast, or serve sliced corned pork in sandwiches with whole grain mustard. Don’t let the idea of making corned pork from scratch intimidate you. The pork shoulder steaks are brined for only 24 hours and then slow roasted with the vegetables.
